In this episode, we will share the second part of the conversation with Pearline Foo, Principal Consultant and Chief Babywearing Specialist Fitting Trainer of Baby Slings & Carriers in Singapore.
A pioneer in the babywearing industry, Pearline has been advocating and acting as a Babywearing Specialist Fitter and Consultant since 2007, and has helped with more than 10,000 babywearing fittings!
We pick up from where we left off in the previous episode and started the conversation discussing the types of carriers that aren't the most recommended. You might be surprised by the types that were shared. I have only seen one too many of this style on the streets, and I would only hope that I share this with you so that you are educated on providing the most support for your little one when using a babycarrier.
Baby-carrying or support is such an important and relevant topic for parents; it is not only a simple way for you and your baby to bond but it is also an important way to ensure that babies develop their body and bone structure well.
If you are an experienced babywearer and have some tips for fellow parents, share your tips with us below.
In this episode we cover:
Types of baby carriers that might put a strain on the baby
Are hard baby seats actually suitable for babies?
How to carry a baby correctly at their “natural restive state”
Correct babywearing code - T.I.C.K.S.
