In this episode, Diana educates us on the modality T.R.E.-- tension and trauma release exercise, how tension and/or trauma is stored in the body, and how exercises in T.R.E. where movement can help facilitate the release of those trapped experiences and energies.
Diana is a somatic therapist and movement facilitator of yoga, qigong, and active meditation.
She draws from her years of training in Tension Release Exercise (TRE), craniosacral therapy, Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), along with training in the movement arts, to offer clients the support they need.
Her work with clients is centered on befriending the body and all its expressions so that the body’s wisdom is a gateway to assimilating challenging experiences, and a resource to find resilience amidst change.
Safety, gentleness, and self-empowerment are key principles of what she offers her clients, who may be highly sensitive or facing stress, life transitions, anxiety, insomnia, etc.
