#5 Grow Your Own Superfoods with Balan Gopal
Saturday Aug 01, 2020
Saturday Aug 01, 2020
Gardening can be a productive way to pass time, add greenery in your home, and potentially add on to our grocery stock, especially in the current situation when most of us are still working from home. Gardening is also a great way to keep kids entertained and engaged while reducing their time with digital screens.
While most of us do not have the luxury of owning a spacious outdoor space to grow a garden, a small deck or patio is sufficient to bring in greenery by cultivating an indoor garden.
Tune in as we speak with Balan Gopal, a personal fitness trainer, and also an urban farmer. Featured by The Straits Times and Home and Decor magazine, the father of two has inspired many fellow Singaporeans living in apartments with his elevated garden of herbs and vegetables growing out of recycled soft drink bottles and Styrofoam boxes.
